Turning this passion into a paycheck just makes sense (especially right now when you can get a Rep account for $0, amirite?). There are lots of ways to jump in. Here's how to use what you LOVE to get your business rolling.
Whether you joined for free or decided to opt for the $30 starter kit, you're going to want to get some product. I mean, one of the best perks of the job is getting to use all of the amazing skincare, fragrance, makeup, body care, etc. For real, my bathroom is like a freaking beauty lab. You should see my #shelfies.

Once you've got a few things on hand, put them to WERK.
Do an Unboxing Video
If you're like me, you go directly from online shopping to package delivery STALKING, hitting refresh on the tracking every five seconds. It's so exciting to get a box from Avon. Let others see exactly how that feels. Go LIVE on social media or film a video to post. Let others in as you test out the goods.
Describe the packaging, the smell, the feel, and how you plan to incorporate the products into your beauty routine. When they see how great everything is, they'll be excited to order for themselves.
#ProTip: It doesn't have to be perfect! People love to feel like they are watching you be REAL. Be genuine and people will respond.
Feeling a little camera shy?
Ask a friend (or your brother) to be in the video with you. This is especially fun when your testing out new face masks ;)

Have a Pop Up! or a Sip-N-Shop
All of this can also be done in person. Turn your product delivery into an excuse to get silly with your girls. Invite friends to go through your new products with you. Letting them see, touch, and smell the products will turn them into Avon fans.
#ProTip: When they are ready to order, just help them pull up your online store on their phone and place it on the spot.
NOTE: things are a little different right now during covid. Even though our opportunities for face-to-face contact are fewer, our business can be even more helpful to our customers in other ways. Now they can get so much of what they need right from your online store without leaving their homes. Highlight the essentials! And find ways to bring personal service from a distance, like virtual consultations, Facebook and Zoom parties, etc.
Try The Products Yourself!
Getting to know the products will help build your confidence with your brand and help you make strong recommendations.
Then share what you learn with the world. Start a youtube channel, post on Instagram, share on Facebook. Before and After photos/videos make a HUGE impact with your audience. Because you know what they want? Authenticity.
#ProTip: look up specific products on your online store. Each one has a detailed description that will give you all the info you could want on how to use it and all it's benefits! There are also one-pagers (info sheets) on Avon U with tons of info on most products.
As you demo the products in your content, you can also share facts about ingredients and benefits. If your audience is learning with you, that adds additional value to your posts and increases engagement.
Most importantly, be yourself!
When I first started, I thought that being "professional" meant trying to tone-down my personality. But over time I've learned that, when I am at my most authentic, it has been a true asset to my business. Being real is endearing and your personal touch is what will set you apart.
